Euros Childs has teamed up with Norman Blake from Teenage Fanclub to form Jonny. The pair have been recording and are releasing an EP in November entitled 'Free EP'. They will be touring in 2011 including a date at Clwb Ifor Bach in Cardiff 8th February.

Seldom Seen Band in Cardiff

Elbow will be touring in March next year in support of their 5th studio album the follow up to 'Seldom Seen Kid'. The band will be playing the Cardiff Arena 23rd March.

She Tours Because She Can

Laura Marling has announced a UK tour for November & December finishing up with a date at the Cardiff Glee Club 1st December. Marling was nominated for the Mercury Prize this year for her album 'I Speak Because I Can’and last played in Cardiff at the Norwegian Church in Cardiff Bay.

Cream of Canada in Newport

Gathered in Song are putting on a blinder of a show 25th September at Le Pub in Newport when they present 2 Canadian singers. Justin Rutledge has been compared to Ryan Adams and was shortlisted for the Polaris Prize (equivalent of the Mercury Prize) in 2008. Also appearing is Amelai Curran a talented singer songwriter who won a Juno award(kind of like the Brits)this year for her album 'Hunter Hunter'.

Just Go!

The Go! Team will be playing the Cardiff Millennium Music Hall February 27th next year, the last date on their UK tour. The band is currently recording their 3rd album which should be out next year.
